Having been at Biggin Hill Airport for so many years one might have thought I would have searched for pastures new, but not so. My hunger to be more involved with this hallowed ground increased along with my determination to achieve the freedom that would come with being self-employed.

This provided me with the drive to form my first business as a publisher in the world of aviation. Working with the aviation artist Kenneth McDonough I was able to incorporate reproductions of his art work in many forms. In turn this opened up the need for publicity and to this end Pilots Pals. What started with local lassies as a bit of fun blossomed into an international publication, the famous calendars, a Flight Safety programme plus a variety of modelling opportunities for the Pals.

In 1993 I opened the Pilots Pals Club as the new social venue on site. This, amongst other things, provided support for the annual air shows, visiting air crews and our veterans. The Pilots Pals, both male and female, becames lifelong friends who visit me at my new home in Spain where we reflect on the many years when we enjoyed the fun that was such a great part being involved in our airport.

My journey through life has been rewarded by my endless research, some in volume two, and my sincere feelings for historic Biggin Hill

PLEASE NOT THIS VOLUME CONTAINS ADULT MATERIAL.
