So much has been written about the RAF Station at Biggin Hill and this is not the website to go into details. This photo taken in the mid 1930s shows the main gate to the RAF Station. At the time it was a quiet scene but in a few years the world would go mad and this place would never be the same again.

Interesting to note are the two gates, complete with 'RAF', and the gate pillars. These have now been removed and now stand at the entrance to the RAF Chapel just around the corner. Click HERE.
